We're introducing hosted hours to McDermont X!

We are thrilled to announce even more hours for fun at McDermont X!
Please familiarize yourself with the info below to make the best of your visit.

Hosted hours:
Monday through Thursday: 9am-9pm
Friday: 9am-5pm
Our open hours on Fridays and Saturdays will remain the same. For that information, please click here.

What does this mean?
Beginning March 4th, 2024, if you come in/your group comes in during our hosted hours, we'll have a staff member available to host you/your group! No more waiting until Friday night or Saturday to come in and enjoy our attractions.

What's the price?
$75 for the first hour for up to 5 people, with your choice of one attraction. Flowrider would be an additional $50, coming out to $125 for the first hour.

What if I want to stay for longer than an hour?
Each additional hour would cost $50 per hour or $100 per hour for Flowrider.

What if I have more than 5 people?
Each additional person would be $5 per person per hour.

What else is included?
Each participant will get a $5 arcade card per hour paid (If you buy 2 hours, each card will have $10. If you buy 3 hours, each card will have $15, etc.) If you or any of your group is interested in using the fitness center, a fitness day pass wristband is included with your purchase and may be retrieved from the cashier simply by showing your proof of purchase. Courts, fields and arcades may be utilized anytime during your entire visit on a first come, first served basis, not just during paid hosted hours (subject to availability). Example: If you pay for 2 hours of attractions, you may stay and play soccer on the fields after your 2nd hour of attractions have finished at no additional charge and if there is no league or reservation already using the field.

Will laser tag still be $5 per person per game?
Nope! If you choose laser tag as your attraction for any hour, you get unlimited laser tag for that hour.

Do I have to let you know in advance I am coming?
It's not necessary, but if you want to call ahead and give us a heads up that would be great! Once you get here, we will determine how many participants you have, how long you wish to stay, create your schedule for attractions and assign you your host.

When does my hour start?
Your hour will start on the hour, or the 15, 30, 45 minute mark. If there is a waiting period due to your host needing to complete opening procedures then arcades, courts, fields and the fitness center will be available during the time.

What happens if another group shows up?
Our hosts will be able to accommodate up to 20 people per hour, so if your group is smaller than that and another group shows up, you will be combined with them. If they show up during the hour, they can either wait until the group rotates to a new attraction, a new hour begins, or jump in and start their hour at that time knowing they may only have 15, 30, 45 minutes left at that attraction!

What if there is already a large scheduled school/church group at McDermont X when I come? Do I still need to pay for the hour if there is already staff here with attractions open?
For most groups you can simply purchase your Discovery McDermont ($20) or All Access Pass ($30) and jump in line for the attractions you’d like to participate in. In the rare occasion the attraction or entire facility is reserved for exclusive use, we will post it on the website, and social media outlets. Please check before coming to avoid those conflicts.

What if we just want to play arcades?
No problem, just come pay admission, load your card, and play!

What happens if we show up on Friday during hosted hours and then stay until open hours?
When you pay for hosted hours, you may receive an All Access Pass at the end of those hosted hours free of charge from the front desk to use for the rest of the evening.

I have a Premium or Deluxe membership. Do I get any special discounts? Can I use my points to pay for the hours or additional people?
Thank you for being a McDermont X member! You’ll get a 10% discount on each hour. In addition, members can be added to the group without any additional charge. You can use your Bonus Bucks points to play arcades and reload other cards in your group, but unfortunately cannot use them to pay for your hours or participants.
